Italy for Movies is the national portal for locations and film and audiovisual production incentives. A project launched in 2017 by the Directorate Generals for Film and Tourism of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (become Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities with legislative decree n. 86 of 12/07/2018, subsequently converted into Law 97/2018 with modifications which transferred all the functions and responsibilities relating to Tourism to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry), and run by Istituto Luce Cinecittà in partnership with the Italian Film Commissions Association.
